Seats
The majority of 3 wheel double buggies are designed as single pushchairs. However, some models can be converted to accept an additional seat by using adapters. You'll also see that some models let you add a ride-on board for older children who wish to walk but still need some help.

It can hold twins from birth and will accommodate two car seats as well as a carrycot and seat. However, the seats have to be oriented forward and there's not enough space for a shopping bag under, so you'll need a backpack for this.

Suspension
The suspension of a double 3 wheel buggy will determine how easy your child/children and you can push it. Folding
A three-wheel double buggy folds pretty well to store it. There are models that fold flat and stand up (as as if they were the shape of a pushchair) and those that are able to open up to reveal more umbrella-style folding with the option of a hand-operated break. The more wheels the buggy has, in general the more easy it will be to maneuver on rough terrain. This is particularly applicable when the wheels are bigger than the average. This will provide you with more stability and reduce the chance that your child will fall over or tip over.
